They still want to Senator McKinney, you just gave them the cover of Bi-Partisan Legislation (that does nothing for the real problem). Then when the next even happens (maybe not even in your state) Gov Malloy and the rest will ignore you and cite the previous law as 'not being tough enough'; you've been played, and hopefully next election you can be playing golf.
I love his answer, because "they" (the guys in Hartford) passed it you should obey your masters, regardless of what a large number of his constituents really want. It's funny how they don't see these laws in the same framework as the Jim Crow laws.
CT is screwed. Visconti is probably the "best" of the bunch, and he's still not that great overall. He doesn't have a chance in hell anyway.

exactly! The path of "compromises" leads in the same direction but in a gentler way to let sheeple get used to the rising temperature. In some way Rs are worse than raging moonbats who are at least obvious at their agenda. Tell me a story about good old Reagan and his gun control measures.

That's quite an ironic quote from a guy who turned the country of "These United States" into "The United States" by violating the constitution because he didn't have the votes to change it until after he started a war and put his own people in charge.
