AR Muzzle Break Issue

So I just installed teh RRA Tactical Muzzle Break on my Yankee Hill Fluted Barrel. I seem to be having issues with getting it to line up correctly. I have always been under the assumption that the gases need to exit squarely to the left and right.

This is with no crush washer. The break is oriented for the gases will be forced up and down.


This is with one crush washer. The break is oriented so the gasses exit up to the right at an angle.



Any ideas?

You need a peel washer to get it lined up the way you want.

Turn the brake until it is indexd You should be able to crush the crush washer when you turn the brake. You need to secure the barrel or the upper so you can turn the brake.This is why they call it a crush washer. Please call me if you are still having trouble.
