Stopped by Goose Hummock and there is a very nice H&R Garand on the rack. It's a consignment gun and only been there a day. 5m s/n and like new bore, I would guess it to be a CMP bun, but no paperwork with it. The tag is $1400 which is about right for retail on this gun. GH is notoriously high on firearms but this one's in the ball park. I'm guessing it won't last long.
