Any Trappers out there?

Just figured I would start a thread on trapping. I have been getting some traps together for the fall. I am going to hit the Fisher cats hard this year, even though the pelts are worthless due to ticks. It would be great if they pushed the season to december, but that may be hard to get done. I have also been thinking about getting a Hancock trap, mostly for otter, and also beaver jobs. Anyone use a Hancock or Bailey?

Does anyone paint their conibear traps? I have always dipped them, but latley was thinking about spray painting them.

Also has anyone ever used a Weasal box around here? I have been thinking about making some weasal boxes.

I signed up to take the mass trapping course. Don't know how serious I will get in to it but figured it would be fun to learn about it

Conibears are a not legal in Mass unless you are working under an emergency permit and with that only for beaver.
