Any standard 22 ammo ?

Is there any 22 standard ammo to be found on the South Shore? Have an old Mossberg 144 Target rifle I want to try out that doesn't seem to like the hi velocity stuff I have. Don't want break the bank doing it though. Thanks

Being a bolt gun, I'm curious about what exactly it doesn't like about the hi velocity ammo? I have that same rifle, 144LSA, and it eats everything I've ever fed it including stingers, etc.

I have only tried some older Federal Hollow Point bulk pack stuff from walmart. It shot ok but I think it could do better. (So could the shooter!) Would like to see how some target ammo does.
