Any Hunters in So. NH that could recommend public lands?

Hey Guys,

The places I usually hunt in MA (Zone 5 - Royalston area, Zone 10 - Lowell / Dracut area) are just getting too crowded now and I was wondering if there were any hunters in So. NH that had some recommended public spots. Anyone hunt public land in Southern NH that would be worth checking out?

ah, that would help.... asking about spots for Deer hunting.

My understanding is that in NH if it isn't posted you can hunt there. I suspect that there are a lot of places that are not posted. What I do is go on google maps and mark about five places that I may be able to hunt, then I drive around and check them out.

Good idea. I'm lucky because I have two sons in southern NH in good deer areas and we hunt right from the houses. Good luck this season. Jack. P.S.-- watch the "shotgun only" areas.
