Swedish m/94 Carbine in 7x57mm Mauser, Carl Gustafs 1916.
I scored it at an auction today.
This will make a nice addition to it's sister CG 1914 in 6.5x55mm :p

Unfortunately I will only be able to fondle her Thursday night.
That's when I'll pick her up.
Range time will be on the 1st Saturday in March.
She'll have to show her qualities in comparison to her sister in
6.5x55, the 1909 Argentino Carbine and my latest K98k.
Haven't shot any of them as yet.

No, it has been an issued rifle in Sweden, but the furniture is excellent.
I must admit that it looks better in the pic than it does physically.
It had been converted from the original 6.5x55 to 7mm Mauser prior to Export,
as the Swedish round wasn't very common here at that time (late 60's/early 70's).
It's missing the sling buckle and unit disk, but I will get those cheap
from Sweden, along with a correct bayo and hopefully sling.
Unfortunately, the bolt isn't matching to the rifle, but in itself.

The 6.5x55 version I have is unaltered and in even better condtion.
That's her
