Places near the MA border are trained to ask for LTC, however no NH Law requires that they look at anything if it is obvious that you are >21.
I still get asked every time in Hudson, NH. It's a Wal-Mart policy, I am told.

Jamie, what caliber are you looking for? There are dealers in MA. that sell CERTAIN calibers much cheaper than the gun shop in Hooksett. Call before you drive.

To get some .45 ACP and he was out of it! He said it is really getting hard to find and when the next shipment arrives it will come with a much higher pricetag.
