Hey everyone,

I just installed a lockable ammo cabinet in my basement (Laundry/Furnace room)

Should I install a GoldenRod in the cabinet to keep out moisture?

I plan on getting a larger safe down the line and will be installing one in there as well.

Currently I have some Silica packets in the cabinet until I decide what to do.

Suggestions?

Thanks
David

No experience with goldenrods but I got a few of these in my safe and they work great in combination with running a dehumidifier during the summer.

I don't have central air to keep the house climate controlled all year round so in the summer my basement gets pretty humid. During the winter it gets too dry.

Also get one of these so you know what the humidity levels are to begin with. I have one in my safe and one in the basement to see the difference in humidity.
