AK Rommie build

Currently building a Rommie underfolder. So far just collecting parts and trying to get the heaven to betsy! rivet out of the trunion!

I got a 100% from joeken. It's actually not a bad receiver. Now onto riveting...

Build is done! (for the most part) Still have to decide to either media blast it and park, or just scuff it up to make it a field drop. I'll post up my webshots link in a few.

Can you expand on that a little for me sig, I was thinking of picking up a mini-30 in Arizona on my way to CT.
Would be nice to know if it's a waste of my time.

Just wanted to give this post a bump to see if I could get a reply to my question. I am leaving commiefornia tomorrow morning and as I said was interested in picking up a Mini-30 in AZ. So if anyone can tell me what Nicklesig229 meant when he said "no 7.62x39 in CT" I would appreciate the help.

Don't take my word for it, but I believe it's only an AWB that CT enacted which specifically banned any AK in 7.62x39 caliber. I may be completely wrong on this, but I don't think the Mini-30 was banned. It's not a caliber ban, just an AK ban if it is in that caliber.

Funny thing is that they can have an AR, as long as it's not a Colt. Go figure. [roll]
