6 Position Stock to Fixed

I just read about replacing the lever pin(?) with a shear-head screw and threading the receiver tube to make a collapsible stock fixed. Has anyone tried this?

if you need to keep a fixed stock, you should go to a standard full stock, so you could start smashing heads when you run out of the 7 round limit they want to put on us.

I haven't tried it. I drilled for a blind pin in mine and it worked perfectly. CTPatriot has a good point, however. I may just stick my A2 back on that rifle!

If you want something legal and sexy looking. Check out the Vltor rifle mod stock. I love mine. I've actually got it on a pre-ban rifle that doesn't need it. Its just a great stock.
