50 bmg Kaboom

On New Years day, we shot about 250 rounds from my brothers 82A1 (?) with no problems. I'm glad I didn't see that before we did!

Seems he was closing the bolt and it fired. No tools. No word if they were reloads or not but who else but a reloader would write the grains of powder on the side of the brass. From what I can tell (from internet searching, so YMMV), anything over 180 grains of most powders are hot loads. 200+ grains of most powder recipes I can find is EC territory. The pics aren't up but most of the loads on the side of the brass were over 200. Maybe the reloaders can jump in and provide more info.
 
I think there are two main possibilities. Slamming the bolt forward repeatedly on a reload with a high primer, or a stuck firing pin. No other theories add up.
 
All I've really learned from this is that calguns may be the worst forum around. Not much factual substance in that thread. Hope that guy is ok!
