Lately I've been swapping between the 2 S&W Shields .45ACP and 9MM just to get them broken in in a holster. But I remember something an Instructor told me one day, He said" Never bring anything to a gunfight that doesn't begin with a 4"..... He said that with a huge smile afterwards.

EDC in the Northeast kinda depends on EDW (every day weather).... I always have a G43 in pocket (DeSantis pocket holster), and depending on season/month/weather etc, either a G26 (ankle or IWB) or G17 IWB (in addition to the pocketed 43). I always have a spare mag (or two) for whatever the heavier (26 or 17) carry of the day is.. But the 43 is even in my jogging shorts, or sweatpants, or Borat-style jockstrap literally always...

But when I don't feel like going with option 1, a G19 or 1911 with a M&P9c when I feel like carrying something smaller.
