Been to the range to sight in a new gun and scope.
Now I find that all my regular gun shops have stopped carring
high power hunting ammo.
do I have to go out of state now?

Bass Pro has a bunch, but you pay for it. I recommend the Remington softnose core-lokt stuff. I used Winchester ballistic silvertip recently, and now there is a Black Bear walking around with 2 bullets in him that didn't seem to bother him too badly :-(. Never using that crap again.

dick's always has plenty of core-lokt, picked up some 180gr a few weeks ago.

Has the hunting ammo gotten expensive too?

Add the 180 gives me the best group. go figure a big round nose
