I was given a few from a guy that has sold all his .308 bore rifles. I loaded them up w/ IMR4064 for my .308 HB. They were friggin' awesome. I used my normal 165gr load. I was at a pit and shooting 12ga hulls at 100 yards, no bench, just a harris bi-pod. I found them at Graf. 500 are $94.70 delivered. Now I need to see how they perform on game. I was getting low on .308 bullets (only 600 left) so the timing is perfect. What I have been shooting are now $25.00 to 32.00 per 100. My '81 BLR really likes 150gr, but I'm going to try these out for it also. 7.5x55, 7.5x54 are next.

Not being a hunter, I can't address any bullet on game, but I can say that I've used the .323" 198gr from Prvi with good results. For my brand of general range plinking, I seek what is most economical and the Prvi offerings seem to fit the bill (the 175 gr is even cheaper in 8mm).
The Swiss will take many .308 tips, but there is limited published load data. Mine digests most loads from the M1 Carbine projectiles and many cast loads, too. You just have to work up your own recipes for powder and c.o.l. for the various bullet profiles.
FWIW, Prvi's general US office is just down the road in Stratford, CT, but they don't do any sales there; don't handle any product, for that matter.
As for the 54R, I see occasional bargains on polygunbag.com. They currently have some 150g .310" tips for cheap, but they are tracers, if you can use them anywhere! http://polygunbag.com/7.62x54RTracerTipsLargerView.html 7.5 cents a piece in bulk!
