30-Round AR-15 internal stamp question

Does anyone know what the internal stamp of "K2" on one side, and "02" on the other side of a Colt magazine means? I've been told it means they're preban, but what is
the actual date they reprent?

Hello All, I have a question and was hoping someone here might be able to help out, anyone have knowledge of the cage codes. I want to know if the cage codes stamped on the inside of 30 round Colt AR15 magazines corresponds to the year of manufacture. I have some that are stamped K1, K2, K3...

I just can remember exactly.

I did look them up and they are pre ban.
