The Dem's are not happy about how the treaty would come and revoke 2A rights in the U.S. The fact there are already 45 Repubs saying its a non-started and thus falling of the 2/3's majority needed to pass a treaty.

Blue Dogs are in the House, these are Senators. The Senate votes on ratification of treaties, not the House. Therefore Blue Dogs don't enter into the equation here.
