Mounted in an old camcorder case I have a complete working gmrs (462.725mhz )uhf repeater. This unit has built in 12 volt batteries and a 120 power supply, can run off either. The transmitter and receiver are motorola radios, and it puts out 15watts. This unit is complete and can be deployed in under 30 seconds. Great for hunters, camping, prepping etc. I will include a small uhf mag mount antenna with it, and I have a larger base antenna available. Setting this up in the center of an area your hiking, hunting, camping etc should give you several miles of solid portable radio coverage.
