We bought this for our camp in 1998. We had it serviced at Maine Gas Refrigerator and it has worked fine ever since. It is currently set up for use with propane, but I have a natural gas burner as well. Both burners are original. Last year, we went solar. So now we are going with low voltage DC appliances. I can ensure that it is cold when you pick it up...
Full disclosure: The CPSC warns that these may be unsafe. However, we had this in our camp for 15 years with no issues (we used a battery operated carbon monoxide detector to be on the safe side).
