WIN 296 Powder/Dillon 550B

Loaded some 296 Win to load some 125G, 357 Mag. My powder bar (large) got gummed up by this fine powder, even after disassebly and cleaning with achohol. Has anyone else had this problem with WIN 296 in a Dillon? Ive used 2400, Blue Dot, 231, Unique, AA& & 9, and Power Pistol with no problems with powder system (lg, & Sm bars)...Best...and Thanks..

I use 295 a lot in my 550 Dillon, never a problem. I have had trouble with the flake type powders such as Bullseye, red dot,etc. due to slide sticking. The only time I have had trouble with ball powders has been when using it in my Pact auto system when it jams the metering screws.

I had trouble loading .357 with H110 (same as W296) in my 550. I never did get it to work. I gave up and switched to Blue Dot.

Thanks guys...I will just go back to 2400 for 357...........
