"Grove ordered the driver from the truck and tried to handcuff him, authorities said. The driver, a convicted felon, pulled a gun and opened fire. The officer shot back.

When the firefight ended, Grove lay dead with a bullet in the head, reportedly the first wildlife conservation officer killed in the line of duty since 1915. His wounded assailant sped off into the night."

I guess if the right to carry in National Parks was repealed this wouldn't have happened. [thinking]
