This is old, but I laughed for 10 minutes the first time I saw
this.

The BATMAN guy is classic as well as the fellow with the UZI and the
feather duster.

Apparently, from what I understand, the reasoning behind the bizzare
clothing is so that the militants can tell each other apart. I wonder
what kind of a system they use..... "Group A gets the lifejackets, Group B
gets capes" etc... Bizarre.

I saw a program on the History channel about the battle. Lots of video footage that looked just like those stills. One of the Americans described it as "a bunch of armed kids dressed in band uniforms."

I know that we're supposed to believe the MSM Myth that these are steely eyed well trained "militants" and no doubt they have a cadre of such. However, I think the cadre serves to wind up the local cannon fodder to engage the infidel. Most of these guys have no training, no organization, no rank structure, they're just kids with AKs and other automatic weapons. The ultimate spray and pray. Up against trained troops, they probably die quickly, bravely, and stupidly.
