Got a range trip in today after working the last two days around the house; fall clean up, etc. Took some pieces that had not seen range time in quite a while: '42 Springfield M1 Garand, '16 V. Chr. Schilling Gew98M, and my 1918 M14 Mauser pistol.

Alternated between putting holes in paper at 100M, and reaching out to the steel 1X2 target at 200M. Rifles were shot seated with hasty sling. 70's HXP for the Garand and '53 Yugo for the 98M. No spotting, just shooting and finding out at the end how I did. Garand a was little low and the Mauser a little high right. 200M success was exactly 75% for both pieces; shot about 100 rounds total from all three.

For the pistol I shot about 1/2 box of Fiochhi 73g FMJ at 25M standing. I had tinkered with my spare mag that wasn't feeding and wound up with only two misfeeds.

Happy Veteran's Day!
