Looking to trade:
HK P2000 .40 with factory HK .357 Sig barrel
BE date code, made in Germany
Trudot night sights still working
Two magazines
All factory back straps
Safariland holster, not sure exact model but it has positive retention with a thumb release
Factory plastic box
Rarely carried, 2nd owner, very good condition. .357 Sig barrel drops in and makes it very loud while generating a sizeable fireball, so be sure to give your range buddies a heads up beforehand, or don't and enjoy the look on their faces when the shock wave hits them. The previous owner said he put 200 rounds through the .357 barrel and 0 through the .40 barrel. I did 250 through the .40 barrel and 25 through the .357.
I don't need to get rid of this. I like the LEM trigger but I don't love it. It takes a little getting used to, and while I feel it is safe in every way, my personal preference is DA/SA.
Ideally would trade for something similar i.e. both .40 and 357 barrels included but in DA/SA, preferably another HK or a Sig.
I'll consider other trades as well +$ on either end to make things work out. Sig p226/229, HK p2000/usp/p30, cool Berettas (not a beaten up standard 92 please), shotguns, or wheel guns, or something uncommon and cool. Strong preference for 9mm or .40. Not super into Glocks or M&Ps. Could also entertain the idea of trading for a good optic (ACOG anyone?)or NODs with cash on my end to make it happen.
Make me an offer and if I decline I'll try to be polite about it with no hard feelings intended
357 Sig may not be that popular but it was good enough for Jack Wilson, and as far as I know this barrel is rare, it isn't available from HK anymore. 40 may not be America's favorite anymore but it's a strong choice for those of us who are compensating for weak politicians and ban state restrictions, plus it was widely available when almost nothing else was a few short years ago.
If you really want to buy this make me an offer and I'll think about it. Not desperate to get rid of it.
Located in Metrowest/Hudson area.
All laws will be followed. Thanks for looking.
