I managed to get through the late Craig Brown Collection at the November Amoskeag without bidding; 150 German K98s, Gew98s, K43s, Kar88s, and Beutewaffen (foreign 'booty' reworked and put into German service as substitute weapons) without bidding. In a week or so I'll have my restored ZF41 for $225; I'm a simple man.
But I will settle on a T-Gewehr for $8000. A mint bSw is going for $7000. I guess I'll just have to settle for a RC; the last one went for $1000 on GB - ridiculous.

Also a ton of Colts from a guy named Dr west..
The RIA catalogs are nice in themselves.
Gent I got the catalogs from is there now trying to buy some colt lever action for 25k
That's one of the cheap ones.
Many of the lever guns are 14k to 100k plus!

I know enough that they are very expensive and very often faked. I'll probably spend the $2500 or so needed for an original ZF4 scope to go on my K43 at some point. They cost as much as the K43 itself.

thats a rare bird military scope for sure.. easy north of a few grand.
