NEW YORK - A Manhattan woman and man were found fatally shot on the floor of her apartment, along with a New Jersey man found with a gunshot wound to his head.

Police discovered the bodies of Debra Silver, 46; Daniel Tedlie, 57, and Michael Ruiz, 55, on Saturday evening in Silver's Upper West Side apartment.

Silver had been shot in the face and torso, and Tedlie, of the Lower East Side, had been shot in the torso. Ruiz, of Glen Ridge, N.J., was found shot in a chair in the apartment, police said.

A majority are 3 or more years from trace to crime. I wonder how many were brought in by someone moving to NY vs. it being stolen in the home state and illegally brought in.

Just think for a moment how this situation would have played out if someone in that apartment had a Airweight J-frame 5-shot .38 in their sweatpants/PJ's pocket at the time....and knew how to use it
