Thieves Crash Stolen Truck Through Florida Gun Shop

ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. (AP) - Police in Florida say thieves rammed a truck into a Florida gun shop to steal firearms and ammunition.

The Zephyrhills Police Department posted surveillance video on its Facebook page that shows the blue truck smashing through the front of Sunshine State Armory early Sunday.

The video shows three people running in after the truck and grabbing guns and ammunition from cases as the truck backs out of the store. They ran to the truck and fled before police arrived.

We need new laws forbidding pick up trucks from being used in a smash and grab theft they cause too much damage to the building! Only Prius and smart cars can be used it's only common sense. Thieves can no longer use the Pick Up Truck Loophole! Quick write a new law before it happens again!

Here in Newington, CT back in 2007. Smash and grab just like this except they rammed the truck backwards into the front door at a place called "Hoffman's". About $25000 of merchandise was stolen but a bad guy was arrested not long after. Their new location has 10" steel/concrete poles inserted five feet into the ground around the front door. Nothing short of a tank would get through.

So, these morons keep allowing perps into their countries and their response is to take stuff away from their citizens to keep them safe. As if these "refugees" can't simply pick up other weapons like kitchen knives or rocks to something else to kill Sweeden's citizens. Unreal.

On top of that what is stopping someone from driving a motor vehicle from OUTSIDE of the city centers into the city to do the same damage?

Back in the day DB guns on North Main Street in Providence got hit like this. Late 80's or early 90's.

Don repaired the front, and was waiting for approval from Providence to put in barricades on the side walk- when someone did it again. Don was sleeping in the store and shot the robber.
