Steyr-Mannlicher M1895

THis is exactly why I did not buy one 2 years ago for $75. Now that I could have sold it for $100 (since all the dealers are $120) I would have made 33% in 2 years. not many other things you can buy that are doing that lately . I should have bought 10

I bet a lot of people said the same thing when gold hit a grand. If they went up that much once, it is probably going to happen again...

I agree. The M95 carbine design however is so short and compact that it has more felt recoil. Everything from the action, barrel length, right down to the wood used and the stock design contribute to how this rifle shoots. Its up there with the Carcano but I've heard some say the standard bolt action of that rifle makes it easier to shoot than an M95.

If we do a January shoot at Sippican I'll bring mine so people can try it out.

I'll bring one of each. I would say it goes Carcano/M44/M95 in terms of felt recoil.
