SIGArms Academy - BYO Ammo?

I haven't been paying attention - when did SIGArms start requiring course participants to buy frangible ammo for most of their courses? They used to supply it with the course.

They must have changed their policy again. In August of 2001 when I took two classes we had to supply our own ammo, although we could buy the frangible stuff from them. They told us that they were changing their policy so that ammo would be included in the price of the course. That meant that the price was going up, but not tremendously at the time.

I wonder if the high cost of ammo prompted them to change that back to the old policy?

I took classes from them in 1998 & 1999 and they supplied as much frangible ammo as you could shoot. They were offerring big discounts to fill their classes back then.
