Wtf is with that muzzle device? Did they think people wouldn’t want to suppress this?

$1800+ MSRP for a Gen 1 Sig product? I would take my money to B&T well before this.

I'm sure it floats someone's boat somewhere. I just want to know why it's almost 5lbs.

I just don't see anything that makes it more desirable than an MPX-K. It's a tiny bit smaller, but still 4.5lb. Bring it to the Copperhead to the table at or below 3lb 2oz, I would be highly intrigued.

To be fair, the -K with the brace on it weighs 6.2lbs. So they squeezed out a ~25% weight reduction (from absurdly heavy to heavy)

For that kind of money, I'd rather go with the (also sorta wonky looking) HK self-clone of the mp5K, complete with roller delayed blowback:

Comes with a more reasonable 4.5" barrel length, and accepts any MP5-compatible magazine.
