Titanium cylinder, SS barrel insert, aluminum frame = 11.3 oz empty on my scale (13.6 oz loaded with 5 rounds of Federal 129 gr Hydra-Shok rounds).
I obtained this at Smith & Wesson Academy at the 1999 IDPA Winter Nationals. It was factory new and went through the Performance Center before the event. Very smooth trigger. The recoil is not for sissies. Due to the light weight and small wood grips, the perceived recoil is more than my 629 snub with full house 44 mag loads. No kidding.
I carried this to church in my Don Hume leather pocket holster and it was invisible to the untrained eye. Occasionally, I'd carry it in a fanny pack - back when a guy could get away with wearing a fanny pack - and I could barely tell it was in there. This gun went with me a lot when I carried on a regular basis and is the first gun I grab today, on the rare occasion I want to carry.
Included is the Don Hume ambidextrous pocket holster, the Galco 6 round leather ammo carrier for a belt (38/357), 2 Bianchi Speed Strips, and what I have left for defensive rounds (5 rounds of the Federal 129 H-S and 15 Speer Gold Dot 125, both +P).
Pricing is a real challenge these days but I ended up at $950 based on conversations, past sales, asking prices, rarity of the gun coming up for sale, and the fact that it was "plumbed" at the S&W Performance Center.

I live 30 minutes WEST of Springfield, MA. I will follow all laws to the letter. Things have changed a lot since I last bought or sold a gun so I'll want to conduct the sale through a dealer. I have one in Feeding Hills, MA that will do it but I'm open to others.
