Check this out...not only does the Boston Globe Democrat lie, but then they'll print a retraction later that nobody can find.

We knew this all along, but it didn't serve their story so they "overlooked" it.

Let's not forget Rosenthal's aide of an illegal firearm purchase at a gun show in New Hampshire that got Steve Bailey removed from the Globe/US and tossed out of country "on assignment" as he was being investigated by the BATF.

Remember too, the Boston Globe paid for the illegal gun!!

A column by John Rosenthal on gun laws said that Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont do not require background checks for gun sales. They do not require them for private sales.

This is lame to say the least...

Why? I thought it a fairly decent letter. The issue I had was the Globe's appending the info on his professional position. Tantamount to saying 'ignore his opinion, he's part of the 'gun lobby'.

common down just got my tax bill horrors it went up twenty dollars.90 acres,
60 x 32 ft house.24 X 60 cement block garage/workshop.$220 a yr.3 deer in freezer,the other freezer full of vegtables.still 3 more weeks to hunt.

Rosenthal isn't a socialist - he makes way too much money for that I can't see him giving up a dime more then he has to. He's just a power mad d-bag who's latched onto this issue as a way to build a power base and get his name in the papers.
