Ultradots seem to be the standard for bullseye shooters. They are reliable and have a no BS warranty. The price is about $200. Yes, that is more than you wanted to spend, but buy once, cry once.

I got an UlraDot Matchdot II for my first red dot sight for bullseye shooting last year. Its not cheap, but I figured I'd be using it for quite a while.
I spent less than $50 last year for a Tasco red dot, to see if I'd like using one. With at least 2500 rounds shot since installing it, it's still working well, and I'm still improving.
This hands down, I have been shooting bullseye for 30 years and this is the best dot I have come across. Serious overkill for a new shooter. If your just starting out don't spend over $100 on a dot. spend your money on a good mount centered over the gun so it doesn't affect the balance.....
