Question about thumbhole stocks...

I was looking at buying a 16 inch upper for my bushmaster lower, and I can't seem to find any barrels that don't have a flash suppressor or compensator on them, so in order to make it compliant I would need to get rid of one of the evil features, so i figured a thumbhole stock would be considered not a pistol grip, is that true?

IANAL but it should solve your problem.... However, it only IS a problem if its a flash suppressor or a threaded barrel. If it has a comp on it (permanently attached) then it's not a problem.

Right, the easy way is to get a threaded barrel, buy a comp that
you like and have it permanently pinned and welded (small job).
