Very predictable. Public screams for more gun control after an incident and then when the smoke clears it's back to normal except for the Brady Bunch and their acolytes.

I couldn't agree more. When gun rights advocates stand back, wipe their brows and say "phew, I think we're in good shape" bad things happen. Suddenly we get some crap bill shoved through and we're left standing slack-jawed in the ashes. We have to keep fighting, not only to prevent further restrictions, but to undo the damage that has been done over the past 80 years.
