Ok, I keep hearing pre ban items are legal in NYS. Someone please clarify this for me. I understand its legal if you have hi capacity mags made before the 1994 ban. Does this also mean its legal to buy and sell such items? If this is the case, where can I find mini 14 20 rounders?

Yes, magazines which hold more than 10 rounds and were manufactured before 9/14/94 can be lawfully possessed (and bought/sold) in the state of NY.

BTDT. No ones got anything. Least they arent selling anyway. Im actually thinking of trading it in for a AK anyway. The Law here is retarded. I can buy an AK with the options I want already on it, (pistol grip, folding stock etc) not to mention that 30 round mags are everywhere. But I can't get any dealer to ship any type of pistol gripped, folding, or telescoping stock. Makes zero sense to me but thats how it is. Oh and wth are all the pre ban mini 14 mags hiding? Impossible to find.sigh.
