Police respond to an 'active shooter' situation at a Wisconsin casino which has left multiple people injured

Police swarmed the Oneida Casino in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Saturday evening after a gunman went on a shooting rampage leaving seven people wounded.

The casino warned of an 'active shooter situation' in a Tweet posted at 9:18pm and told people to stay away from the area. The casino later said the suspect was in custody.

Fox 11 reported dozens of police cars had raced to the casino in Ashwaubenon, across Highway 172 from Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport.

Witnesses reportedly heard rapid fired shots and officers were spotted drawing their weapons as they entered the casino on Saturday evening.

There was no information immediately available on any possible fatalities, the severity of injuries, or details about the shooter.


Wisconsin casino shooting: 3 killed, including gunman, after targeted attack​

It happened at the Oneida Casino on Highway 172 in Green Bay near the Austin Straubel Airport, about four miles away from Lambeau Field​

He said the gunman’s apparent target, a person who worked at a restaurant in the complex, was not at the scene. But the gunman “decided to shoot the victim’s friends or co-workers, it appears,” he added."

 

Tragic as the situation might be, unless you count the police shooting the perpetrator dead, the shot count doesn’t reach the magic four people shot low-ball definition of a Mass Shooting. If the cops had let the killer run free, they would have stoped a Mass Shooting? Sh*theads...
