The Glock 47 is the newest model in the line of Glocks. It features the full size slide and grip of a G17, but the frame has the same length of a G19. Because it's the same length as the G19, you can actually swap slides with a Gen 5 Glock 19. So if you already own a G19 and you buy the G47, you will essentially have 4 Glock models for the price of 2. If you put a G19 slide on the G47, you get a G45. If you put the G47 slide on a G19, you get a G19L (this model is discontinued). The G47 is also optics ready with Glock's modular optics mounting system. You can't beat Glock perfection
