600 any/any shoots... or lack thereof

I'll hear folks out on the issue at some of the 600 Thursday practices over the summer, but frankly, this smacks of a political struggle in a club I do not belong to. In other words, none of my business essentially, and something I probably don't want to find myself in the midst of.

That said, I am the secretary (apparently for life) at HHRG, and with membership renewals coming up I will have to schedule time just to piss for awhile, or I surely would volunteer to run a 600 any/any.

The fact is there are frightfully few 600 yard ranges in the area. I know HHRG members that joined Pelham just because they were buidling a 600 yard range. Needless to say, they have not been thrilled with the progress on that project, but then again I know first-hand how such improvements can drag on in an essentially volunteer organization. The pity is that F-class, and long range shooting is getting more popular all the time, and it is just bad timing for Nashua to pack it in for a season. That's all. Didn't mean to strike a nerve.
