I don't know if this is where to post this question.
I have a 03A3 that was given to me by a man who was very small in stature.
He told me, "Bob this gun has killed more deer than you will probably ever see."
Its time to take up his challenge!
The action, barrel and all have not been modified. It still has the original sights and the bolt has not been turned.
The trouble is he had "sporterized" the stock and now it is much to short for me.
I would like to find a better stock (synthetic preferably) to replace it so I might use it for hunting.

Thanks for your replies,

Bob

03 Stock

You can pick up a Boyd's stock fairly inexpensivly. It will take some fitting but they look good when finished.

Get an original replacement stock, either old or new, and put it back to original condition. You'll have something that has some value to it rather than being just another bubba'd rifle. Please don't put plastic on it.

Those old timers are not being made any more.

Heres my 03a3 with it's brothers.

While I do agree with what Pilgrim said, I offered the link for a synthetic one because of the idea about using it for hunting. Now if it was mine.....[grin] it'd have correct stock and sling in a week.
