NC Star scopes

Anyone have any experience with them? I'm looking at one of the Mark III's but I want to know if their claim that it will hold up to a 50 BMG recoil is bs or not.

the cheaper ones we have had are just that a cheap scope.

If you don't mind blurring around the edges, and cheap parts that fall apart on their own, go for it!
