I did not want to hyjack Milsurplus 4 Me's gun porn thread, but I did feel inspired to join in the fun. :)

Non import marked, all matching CYQ P38.

Nice piece!
My first all matching was a P38 too. An AC44 dual tone with 2 mags and 1 box of original ammo. Given to me by a neighbor who had taken it from a German soldier he captured.

I keep saying I'm going to buy one of those someday. Is that a Nazi proof mark on the right of the slide, and if so how many are their total on the gun?

What you see on the slide is the standard military proof

Flanked by two spreewerk proofs

also found on barrel

and frame above trigger housing

There is only one military proof on the pistol that I can find. Special thanks to Orvel L. Reichert of www.p38forum.com for the drawings of the proofs.
