I was just checking out the Grippod website, how is it holding up/working for you?

I have had no problems with it.

Obviously it isn't as good as a high quality bipod but for use on a carbine / m4gery mainly as a grip and occasionally as a bipod I would give it 10/10.

Mark, sweet setup. What are you using for a sling? Would you recommend it? Thats the first item on my "ornaments for the AR" list.

The sling is a Tapco 3 point sling w. quick detach.

It works well enough but I haven't got enough use out of it to honestly give an opinion on it's reliability.

I am thinking of trying to make my own sling as covered in this thread from AR15.com:
