You don't have to spend the money on a slow-fire upper. A good wood stock, barrel extension and a forward grip will make a MAC much more cotrollable. A suppressor is even better if you can have one. Jack.

I won't disagree that you can increase controlablity by playing with your stock/barrel/grip options. I've played with them all, plus various drop in rate reducers, Trask slow fire, etc (best thing about the M11/9 is next to the M16 it is the "lego" of the NFA world)...BUT the LAGE slow fire really is in a class by itself when it comes to M11 "accessories" It really turns theM11/9 into an awesome "usable" subgun, not just a controlable "bullet hose"...well worth the $800
