This one was labeled "Type-99 Jap(anese) 7.7cal" at a gunshow. The Mum is intact, so I brought it home. And it seems to look an awful lot like a zero-series Tokyo Arsenal (?) Type-38 long rifle, to me.
I don't know much about these yet, other than it has no matching numbers, and the rear sight spring appears broken. So, I took some pics, and thanks for looking.
