MRPC's thrid annual EIC went today without a hitch. Weather was excellent, though a bit warm for early October. But the good light and light wind favored many.
We had a turnout of 29 riflemen, two being distinguished. The CMP should award one eight point and two six point EIC awards.
Match winner and Gold medallist was Nick Till from Michigan with an outstanding 497-20X. Silver medallist was Jon Mitchell from Ohio with an excellent 491-16X. Jon ws the highest scoring non-distinguished shooter and should receiver eight EIC credit points. Bronze medallist was John Lutinik from Michigan with a 488-18X. John finished as second non-distinguished and should earn six EIC points. Last points (six) winner was Kevin Staley from Ohio with a 478-5X.
Unofficial point tallies indicate that both Jon Mitchell and Kevin Staley should be awarded the Distinguished Rifleman badge by the CMP pending approval of match results.
