Massachusetts Prone Matches

Hello smallbore rifle shooters!

Hopkinton Sportsmen's Association in Massachusetts will be hosting a series of Thursday night smallbore prone matches this summer. The matches have been set up to be as inclusive as possible. Each match (there are 6 of them throughout the summer) will take place on a Thursday night. There will be 2 relays each night, one at 6pm and one at 6:45pm to accommodate shooters who can't make the earlier relay. Two relays will also facilitate the sharing of equipment if needed. The course of fire is 20 shots at 50 yards on the A-23 target--any sights. The match is open to Juniors and Adults.

Havent shot smallbore prone in years but my rifle is ready and willing to shoot! Let me see if i can make the trip down in time after work! Too bad i sold my shooting jacket years ago....time to convert some old clothes!

Id be shooting an Anschutz 1413 iron sights.

Equipment

Tiktock, I'm working on digging up some equipment for you. Not sure what size jacket you wear but I'd be happy to loan you mine if it fits.

I should be able to provide some basic equipment (jacket, sling, glove, and maybe even a rifle) to people who want to compete but don't have the proper equipment.
