I got a new Marlin 60SS .22 rifle, I like it a lot better than my 10/22, it feels better, is easier to take down and clean, and has bolt-hold-open on empty chamber. It's my new favorite .22.

(Anyone want to buy a slightly used 10/22? Never mind, I would regret selling it the minute it was gone... )

Nice looking rifle! .22s are a lot of fun. The only advantage I see for the 10/22 over the 60 is the huge availablility of aftermarket parts and accessories for the Ruger. If you plan to leave it stock, either one is a great shooter. Have fun shooting it!

Very nice!
I have a blued Marlin 60. A truly great rifle!

BTW: Accu-Trigger is a Savage feature this is a Marlin rifle.

I prefer the 60 over the 10/22 just because I prefer loading a tube over a box-mag. And we ALL know that even if you buy a 300 round mag for your 10/22 yer gonna have to reload it a few times in a range session.

Tube is a little quicker, and easier on the thunb IMHO.

I've got one of these for reloading my Marlin 60.

Only problem is I'd like to have a couple more to bring along.
