Map, Compass, and Survival Course

I had signed up on-line with MassWildlife to receive word of available classes in this popular class often held way out west. They recently contacted me with several choices this summer at their Westboro location. None were mentioned on the internet.

I took this course last year and found it to be rather fun. The course runs all day, with most of the morning inside and then a practical activity at the end.

If you go, I suggest you save the map they give you that has the locations of the markers in the woods on it (you'll know what I mean when they give it to you), in case you want to go back and practice some day.

bummed I won't be able to do it this year. I'm on my honeymoon for Octobers, and missed signing up for June/July ones.

I called first thing this morning and they said that the Westboro Oct. class was full despite what it said on the site.

They will put you on a waiting list if you ask...
