A critic of French President Francois Hollande dumped tons of horse manure in front of Paris' parliament building Thursday in a pungent protest against French politics.

"Out with Hollande and the entire political class. Long live the Sixth Republic," read a message on the side of the man's articulated truck. He was arrested before he dumped the full load, Reuters reported.

Hollande is currently dogged by allegations he had an affair with a younger actress, France's sluggish economy, and the lowest popularity ratings of any leader in modern-day France.

Now I'd suggest we do this at the state house in Boston, but they're already full of shit. [rofl]

That's nothing. There's more to come. The French might be socialists for the most part (although the right wing is growing steadily since years), but they take just so much from their government. Much less sheepish than Americans, trust me. If they have had enough, they will march in the streets, cars will burn and cops will bleed. They do it on a semi regular basis.

Mkay... Coming from a Bonafide real hero, that hurts.
You're entitled to your opinion. What's my opinion worth anyway, I'm just one of the pussies.

Anyone with basic knowledge of the current deployed French forces in Africa aren't going to be calling that force a bunch of pussies.

idiots say stupid shit. don't let it get to you. i have zero doubts about the set of balls that was attached to the forces you fought in.

I heard a funny one about the french recently and why they are involved in Africa

Had something to do with the need to procure more cotton to make white flags with

:)

[rofl]

No one has problems with jokes. Even the French Army can sorta take WWII jokes.

But calling them pussies based off of being rolled by the best military Europe has ever seen is not exactly a statement on a solid foundation. When it comes to top 10 militaries in the world, the French military is there.

Europeans know how to protest. American's don't. We bitch, moan and vote the next idiot in while bitching about the lesser of two evils. Europeans smash shit apart, take cities over, and trash the place. Ukraine had protests going on a few weeks ago that this country hasn't seen for a century. Europe may be a bizarre place politically. It always has been. But Europeans let their .gov know when they are fed up. We as Americans don't.

"Manure dumped outside French Assembly in protest"...

Locals say it is an improvement over what it smelled like before...

but the French just elected this idiot ---what? a year or a year & 1/2 ago???? the liberal/socialists who suck on the governments teats are their base---same here in the u.s democratic party

we can only hope the young folks in this country realize what's going on and start the revolution before it's too late----without their votes against this crap we are sol (s**t outa luck)

for those who want to dump on courage of the French check out the resistance movement during ww 2

sounds a lot like 2a supporters in this country today---not a lot of us but we'll keep up the fight

Didn't we, not including myself or anyone here, do the same thing with Obama? At least they shit on their politicians, unlike here where it's the other way around.

I try not to collectively categorize any group of people in broad terms. Imagine how we as Americans are viewed around the world based on the actions of a our politicians.

Guys, it's the internet. We have members of all walks of life, all ethnicities, ands ell, almost all different mind sets. I'm sure Not Tom did not mean to generalize.Rather was he trying to make me feel ok. The comment about French people, well, was just one person making a single, mindless remark. We should just all get back to "business as usual" and forget about it. It was just one person being stupid, probably unintentionally.

agreed--we have to recognize anyone, anywhere, protesting against a tyrannical socialist government is a good thing no matter where it occurs
